There were at least 4 things posted that were offensive and the thread had been highjacked into a flame war.

Threads are moved instead of deleted in case there is any reason the posts are needed later. Effectivetly the thread is archived and deleted from the forum.

There is little to be gained in discussing it. Normally warnings would have been issued but there were multiple offensive posts in a short time and it was escalating so the hammer was dropped.
