Galatic's stock I thought was very large the problem was that inventory is an anchor. High turnover stuff or FOTM represents about 80% of your sales. The problem is that when its no longer in vouge your stuck with it and it sits on your shelves. The walls of galatic were festtoned with this sort of product.

This coupled with the speed of changing flavors means that unless your really zeroed in on what the trends are going to be your at the mercy of sales reps. With competition with the internet (who have much lower overheads) and you have a tough racket.

Ron is friendly enough but I think that type of enviornment is suitable for only some types of games and I would not expect him to have on hand a large selection of non CCG stuff.

It is sad to see a game store go...
