We were playing a game where I wasn't DM.  That is where her character Jade came from.  I even brought up the idea of LARP before and she doesn't want to try it.  I have had some pretty bad players before.  I compared her to them, saying how much better she is, and I think that is what started this.

Maybe she's just not that into gaming and is trying to be nice.  People do that about all kinds of stuff.
