Hello all.

I'm Steve. Just moved to New Orleans from Jackson, MS.

Played DnD since the mid-90's (anyone else still have nightmares about THAC0?), but switched to Pathfinder when 4.0 came out.

Played a million different scenarios in White Wolf, lots of d20 Future and Apocalypse. Helped create custom campaigns from Shadowrun clones to Fallout to a Dresden Files-based game.

Great at world-building, experienced, looking for a crew. Fun must come before slavish adherence to "the rules."

And the LORD said, "Let there be 4.0!" And there was 4.0.

Thus the LORD said, "Umm... on second thought guys, let's just play Pathfinder."

Nah, THACO's for sissies. Give me those good ol' 1e combat tables any day of the week. Currently, our group alternates Friday evenings between Advanced Mythus and Champions. The shorthand for monsters in the appendix. I thought you meant institutionalized thaco in 1e. With the repeating 20's in the tables though, thaco doesn't strictly work in 1e. But, yes. Technically you are correct, the words "To hit A.C. 0" do appear in an appendix as a shorthand for the monsters.
