I’m looking at running RIFTS

I plan on running a North American based game starting 101 P.A.
Also l plan to run a lower power level .

The O.C.C. list (from the ultimate addition) is as follows:
All Adventurers and scalars, though a city rat might be a bad choice…
All men of magic accept the elemental fusionist.
All Psionic R.C.C.s (remember bursters, plasma isn’t fire)
The only men @ arms are the Merc Solder, Cyber knight & Juicer
If you want to run something not on the list, but still common in north American shoot it by me and I’ll let you know if it’s okay.

We’ll be using the 15 segment alternate initiative system from the Palladium forums. I’ll explain via email if you are interested in playing.

I’m also going to need detailed answers to a list of questions I have, they have to do with your character back ground outlook and such.

We’re not just going to shoot stuff here folks. If I’m going to run this you have to have a real vested interest in your character.

Please send me two Character concepts (O.C.C., Race, R.C.C. short background; a sentence or two will do)

I’ll work out a time and play schedule when I have an idea of how many players are interested, but I plan to run out of +1 gaming for the first few sessions to find out if you like my game mastering and I like your play style, also to find out if you like your character after the game is underway.

No, really. This board was originally created to support the gaming of one particular gaming group. All the public stuff, place to post game openings and such, was added as a free service to the NOLA gaming community. There wasn't a local place (until +1 gaming opened) that had any online activity. Meetup is OK but it requires that someone pay to keep the group open and since this forum has existed someone has paid for a group on meetup and then let it lapse 4 or 5 times.

This forum is non-commercial so all work on the public side is pro bono publica. At times enough people post to keep others looking and replying but after a time people stop posting and people stop looking. But the forum is active. There are at least 3 people who check it several times a day. We just aren't that social. Cry
