hi, i just wanted to flesh out who is out looking for a game. i dm on monday and play on wendsday, but the wendsday night group i play with is disbanding in march.
i am open to being the dm (pfrpg in faerun) or playing (3.5,pfrpg, or 4.0) in a weekly(preferred) or bi-monthly game.

i do prefer gamers 25 and older in an adult (drinking responsibly and such) atmoshere.
please answer these questions: -my answers are filled in
you want to play every week or other week?  -every week
what days are open for you?  -all but monday and wendsday
play or dm?  -either
if dm what system or world? -pfrpg in forgotton realms

i hope to hear from you...
happy new year!!!

By pfrpg do you mean Pathfinder or Palladium Fantasy RPG?

pfrpg, when mentioned in the context of DnD 3.5 / 4.0 probably means Pathfinder.

yes, pathfinder in forgotton realms is what i am doing now.
i am open to whatever in regards to playing, and would do pfrpg if dm'ing.
i have dm'ed several long term campaigns lasting several years each. i like broad storylines with many facets developed over time, not just hack and slash.

I have been looking to get back into a regular rpg after several years away.  I have played and dm'd several systems, but am really looking to just play.  I have not ventured into Pathfinder territory, but am very familiar with early Ad&d (d20), White Wolf games and Warhammer 40k RPG.  I am sure that I can adapt to any style despite the "ring rust".  To answer your questions...
I am older (38) and capable of drinking responsibly.
I am looking for a weekly game (depending on the night)
Tuesdays are the best night for me, but other nights might be possible (Friday & Saturdays are not open)
I am looking to just play at this point, but have dm'd in the past.
Systems...tons, and willing to learn/play more.

Please let me know, I am very interested in finding a group.

we have me plus 2-3 players so far. the most popular night is sunday.
we are looking to start right after mardi gras, although i may be camping at an SCA event (medieval recreation) in march as well, for a week.

i have three campaigns in mind:
first, and least favorite would be to try the pathfinder adventures. i hear they are good.
second would be an adventure party involved with the emergence of a new godlike power. runs into epic, and possibly a second campaign of evil characters for good.
third is a campaign focused on a pirate/buccaneer ship. each person has 3 characters of different alignments races and classes. i have rules for building on and off ship relationships and alliances, there is political intrigue, as well as character intrigue. this one is more for experienced gamers, new gamers would need mentors to help them.

the second two would be in faerun. i start at 3rd level, i use all wotc 3.5, faerun books, and pathfinder books(as well as compatibles). anything else just needs to be cleared with me.
the first would be pathfinder and 3.5 wotc. also starting at 3rd.
hope to hear from a couple more.....

I just moved to nola and I'm looking to find a group. I've played and dm'd multiple systems. I've been involved in a pirate campaign so i'm familiar with some of the naval 3.5 rules.
to answer your questions:
I'm 22 and drink responsibly
I'd like to play weekly
I'm free everyday atleast until i get a job then hopefully i can work my schedule around this.
And I'm most comfortable with 3.5 but I happy playing any system.

thanks for replying. have you tried pathfinder 3.5? its a polished version of wotc 3.5

that would bring us too 3-5 players, so i am stoked.
i do not believe sunday will be possible, and am hoping to get everyone to agree on either wens or thurs.

I haven't tried Pathfinder, yet but if it's based off 3.5 then I'm sure it's cool. I was wondering where and when we'd be trying to get together so I know in general what kinda drive i'd be making.

i live on the 1300 block of camp st (new orleans), close to the freeway entrance. pretty easy to get to and park.

here is the pathfinder srd:
Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

skills are a little different, feats are earned every odd level, grapple and other combat maneuvers are better organized.

they also have their own world, but i like faerun.

Is this game already filled up? I am new to the area. Looking for 3.5 games if possible. Never played Pathfinder but I am willing to learn the differences. I have been playing for roughly 10 year.
I'm younger (24) and I do drink responsibly.
I would prefer to play weekly.
Any day is workable for me, but it would have to later in the day on weekdays due to my job.
