Yeah...

For a scene known for being populated exclusively by nerds, it sure does attract a fair share of morons.

Basic math, folks - the whole point of THAC0 was simplification.

Pro Tip: THAC0 - Target AC = Minimum Roll to Hit Target

You know you're Old School when you remember that elf was a class, and from adventure to adventure, you had to choose whether your elf would be a mage or fighter.     Smiley

No... old is when you used the recommended 2d6 for combat in D&D instead of the d20 alternate rules that became standard LATER.

Raise your chainmail gauntlet if you know what I mean.

How 'bout the Jousting Matrix? 

I bet if you go to any Gary Con, you'll find the Battle of The Moathouse played out using Chainmail.  Now, for bonus points, name the module containing the moathouse in the battle.
