Oh yeah!  Isn't that in the 1e DMG?  Or was it the Player's Handbook?

"Pencils and Paychecks" is a popular RPG played by wizards and dragons.

I was kidding.  Just wanted to see if anyone got the reference.

Yes, its a single cartoon that was in the AD&D DMG.
