I'm one of those closet dorks who finds it hard to find people who play. Mostly have played D&D and Shadowrun. I'm looking for a D&D 4th ed game and can fit most any bill. Though I prefer Defender and Striker, I can also do leader well. As far as aother games go, I tend to be a gilded tounge kind of guy.

Come to the meetup on Saturday, January 23, at Galactic Goods in Kenner.  Apparently this is going to be a weekly thing where folks get together to play and discuss gaming.

is this to be an all-day thing or is it at a certain time? i'd hate to be too early or too late if i'm able to drop in...and i figure anyone else would rather the same for themselves. that, and if there are only one or two people showing up at a time throughout the day, the networking potential drops a bit. i hope to make it, and if not, i hope that plenty of other gamers do and have a great time.

Well, it starts at 12:30.  As in the PM, baby.  That's when I'm getting there.  Hopefully the others that intend to come will have similar timing.

Hey Guys, Sean here, It starts at 12:30pm ad the place closes at 6:30pm.  I wanted to see who shows up, talk with everyone and see if we keep it for every other Saturday, once a week, or something else.  They open at 12:15-12:30 so no need to be early.  I plan to stay late but do have to be somewhere for 6pm. 

@Cowboy, you coming to this one as well?

I was there and I'm happy to report that it was fruitful.  As Sean mentioned in another thread, we have a game starting in two weeks.  I also was able to join a D&D minis game.
