Are we going for this in Sept, or are we waiting for Oct.?

I was going to do the second one after one month because its a different day (sunday instead of saturday) and so other people might be able to show up.

I had said Sept 7 but I think that's labor day weekend so I will move it to the 14th.

nice if it is on the 14th then i will be able to make it.

I just realized that its this weekend that's labor day, not the weekend of the 7th... so I am inclined to do the next one on the 7th (because I am impatient).

So Roitsko, can you do the 7th too?     We'd be meeting sunday, the 7th around noon.  This time at Pyramids again and then next time we'll try something different.

Either date is good for me, assuming someone will give into my usual whining about needing a ride if it's far from the quarter/Marigny/7th Ward.

Edit for clarification:  Yes, I live in New Orleans and I'm in the updown (mostly Tulane) area.  Though I live on the edge of the Garden District.

The intent of the forum is to help anyone in the New Orleans area find a game.  You will see there are player seeking games and games seeking players areas.   This meetup area is for talking about meeting up in person.

Of course, getting this forum to work means getting people to keep coming back and posting what's going on with their games even when they don't need players.

There have been a lot of new people lately, I think with the new school year so its a good time to look around.  My group is actually 1 player over our target right now so we can't help you but go post in the player seeking a game area.   One person went to one of the local gaming shops and found a game.  You could try that.  Just keep checking back after you post and once you do find a game, post here about it.  And come to the next meetup.  I will start an official thread for it this weekend.

My game could take up to two more players, but they have to be interested in throwing it down old school.  My game's kinda the 25 year throwback of the bunch here.
