Age of Conan? Never played it. Any good?

Well we can consider it. Would you like to meet?

But if you live in Hammond it might take a while to get here ever Saturday.

Age of Conan?  Hammond?  You must be getting IMs I am not seeing.

Hammond to the CBD is about an hour drive.  Its not a bad drive unless I-10 gets swamped but it is an hour.

(And I moved this thread awy from the game ad to keep that thread clean.)

So is that a challange?   Should I just guess one of them... like say, the Matrix Online.

Well WOW would be the most common. Or EQ. I know they do not work for EVE, thats European.

as for character roles, I have to remind you that this is a first for me, I have never done table top rpg.

I have always liked caster types, but I fancy warriors and rogues.

Well the process to join the stark game is to meet with sombrenote so he can get an idea if your personality will fit in with the group.  Assuming that works out, you meet with a few more of us or do lunch or watch one of our games.    I don't mean to imply we make a habit of rejecting people, its just table top gaming is a social thing and all the current players get veto power over new people.  Your asking for trouble otherwise.

As for character fit, for sombrenote's game you build what you want and the party lives are dies by it.  The world exists and you are a creature in it.  Us players might nudge you to take a certain role but you don't have to fill a role to come in.  We are a serious role playing group and will make decisions on what to do based on the groups capibilities.  That said, we don't have a thief and both our fighter types aren't pure bricks.

I see... well either way I am interested in watching on game, and seeing if I can fit something in particular, this should be an interesting event for me.

I look forward to our meeting.

I'm interested in meeting you guys and maybe joining your game.  I have a little pencil and paper experience; I've just never found a game I could fit into my schedule for very long.  But my schedule's pretty open these days, so that won't really be a factor.  I live in the Garden District.
