Wow, people even nerdier than your average gamer!  Rejoice, we are no longer the bottom of the coolness pyramid!

I am not so sure...  the LARPers get a lot more chicks.  They are nerdy chicks, but it still might make them cooler.

(I mean, of course, that a lot more women LARP than table top.  Its a joke people.)

Edit:  the LARPers get a lot more chicks at their gaming sessions.

Real life?  Not so sure.  Tabletop gaming and LARPing have, at best, equal thingy-blocking potential.

Which is only enhanced by use of terms such as 'thingy'.

Whoa!

Either YaBB filtered my post or an administrator edited it for me.

However, I might start saying "thingy" more often.

That clip... will be with me for a long time. A very long time...  :'(  Just when i thought some folks fixation with Avatar was getting a bit weird, it mocks me by diving strait into the odd realm of the kind of train-wreck LARPing you just can't look away from. :o

In the topic of girls and LARPing, I would agree, there dose tend to be a lot more available type girls larping (though, oddly enough, I tend to have more female then male players at my table, they're just generally not of the "available" type).  However, it's been my shameful experience that the ones that are larping looking to hook-up usually have a really large sticky tar-like ball of pure crazy born of crushing self esteem issues and enabled by a usually more then healthy attachment to their escapist second life.  After all, that's what got them to hook up with you during a LARP in the first place and sealed the deal with a home run on the first night (because your characters would for double the crazy points).  If that ever happens to you (you dumbass), run, hide, and change your locks (she might have gotten your spare key, seriously, that sticky tar-like ball of crazy has a way of grabbing the oddest things) because it would only be a matter of time before she corners anouther girl who you were talking rules with earlier, pulls a knife on her, and lets her know in no uncertain terms that she'll kill the poor confused girl if you ever leave her.  It'll only get messy from that point on... or maybe I just always find the extra-special crazy ones...

Edited: bacause I'm dyslexic
