Here's me
You Scored as Method Actor You think that gaming is a form of creative expression. You may view rules as, at best, a necessary evil, preferring sessions where the dice never come out of the bag. You enjoy situations that test or deepen your character's personality traits. Method Actor 100% Storyteller 92% Specialist 75% Tactician 75% Butt-Kicker 58% Casual Gamer 50% Power Gamer 33% |

Yup, I came up Storyteller. Sounds about right. On some of my best gaming nights the character sheet never even came out of the folder.

I like rolling the dice, I just don't think its as important as the story and character development. I'd have expected tactician to be higher. I guess I can live with the bottom two. While I don't think I am either, I guess I'd rather be a power gamer than a casual one. |

Iteresting concept for a poll. My wife being the political scientist would comment on how the poll was constructed (i.e lack of cross-indexing questions etc) and that it seems to stear most of us towards the story-telling method acting archtypes with subtle cues about the hack and slash gamers.... but thats besides the point! Good link.
Ohh Story teller. |

I'm a Tactician. No one who knows me is terribly surprised at this. ;D (Though they might be at my pre edit grammar... :-[ )

Wow. There's a shocker. Especially when you consider that I was wargamer for about a decade before ever picking up an rpg book. 8-) Also, before switching to engineering & math in college, I was a drama & communication major for two years, and before that I was a 4-year lettermen in high school drama. Yeah.. I got all that play-acting out of my system already. ;) |
